Lea Birringer is standing in focus of this production with her violin, but not alone: the collaboration with her sister Esther Birringer, which has been tried and tested for years, succeeds again impressively here. While the pianist elicits melodies 'full of heartfelt lyricism and pearly fluency' (Voralberger Nachrichten) from her instrument, she rounds off the overall impression exquisitely with her exquisite piano art.
